With the fast development of solar car industry, high energy density lithium polymer batteries are in hot demand at present. Ordinary lithium-ion battery has an energy density of 200Wh. Recently, GEB R&D department worked out a series of new battery cathode and anode materials. By using these new battery materials, GEB new battery reaches an energy density of 250Wh, 25% higher energy density than other battery manufactures. This energy density set up a new world record in the field of lithium battery industries. The first application of such high energy battery is for car race which requests a low weight and high energy density.
