On June 14th,a traditional festival comes to us again, that is Dragon Boat Festival with a very long history in China.
The best known story here holds that the festival commemorates the death of the poet QuYuan: It is said that the local people who admired him raced out in their boats to save him, or at least retrieve his body. When his body could not be found, they dropped balls of sticky rice into the river so that the fish would eat him instead of Qu Yuan’s body. This is said to be the origin of zongzi .
To welcome the arrival of this Festival, our company also hold a special activity for the whole afternoon with all stuff present to show our talent and personality with various fillings of zongzi and delicious food on table in the hope of relaxing us on this special day. It turned out everyone enjoyed the creative performance and had a great fun in it.
The activity was finished at 7:00pm.But the happiness and pleasure spin around everyone's mind all the time.
